Who we are
This policy explains what information The Bot Shop ("we," "us" or "our") gets when you visit www.thebotshop.ai (the "site") or contact us, and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you browse the site. The site has no customer accounts and no forms that send information to our own server. We do not ask you for personal information just to look around.
When you contact us. Our "Request an appointment" buttons and contact links open your own email app with a message addressed to info@thebotshop.ai. Nothing is sent until you press send. When you email or call us, we receive what you choose to share, such as your name, business name, phone number, email address and what you need help with.
Our website host and cookies
The site is hosted by Squarespace. Like most website hosts, Squarespace may automatically collect standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed and the date and time of your visit. Squarespace uses cookies and similar tools to run the site, keep it secure and give us basic visit statistics. Squarespace handles that information under its own privacy policy, which you can find on the Squarespace website.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.
How we use your information
We use the information you send us to:
- reply to you and set up a time to talk,
- understand your business and what you need help with,
- provide the services you ask for, and
- keep basic records of our conversations with you.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with others for their own marketing.
Who else may see it
- Our service providers. Our website host and our email provider store information as part of running the site and our email. They are expected to use it only to provide their services to us.
- When the law requires it. We may share information if the law, a court order or a government request requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
- If the business changes hands. If The Bot Shop is sold or reorganized, information may move to the new owner, still covered by this policy.
Your accounts stay yours
When we help a client set up AI tools, the subscriptions and accounts are opened in the client's own name. Information stored in those accounts is handled under the terms and privacy policies of the companies that provide them. Any work we do for a client is covered by a separate written agreement.
Keeping information safe
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. No website, email system or internet connection is completely secure, so please do not email us passwords, card numbers or other sensitive details.
How long we keep it
We keep your emails and contact details for as long as we need them to work with you and keep normal business records. You can ask us to delete them at any time, unless we need to keep them for legal reasons.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you have sent us. Just email info@thebotshop.ai. We will reply within a reasonable time.
Children
The site and our services are for business owners. They are not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
